Special Projects
We welcome groups or individuals to get involved at Water Street Ministries by trying out a one-time opportunity to get your feet wet! Facing homelessness and poverty is a difficult place to be, but simple gestures like a smile can make all the difference. Opportunities can include projects like painting, helping with a meal, or getting donated items ready for individuals who need them. For more information, see the links below.

Serve a Meal
We serve about 175,000 cafeteria-style meals to hungry neighbors and individuals staying in the Water Street Mission shelters each year. This is a great way to try out volunteering!
Volunteers in Food Services need to be at least 12 years old

Sort Donations
Opportunities coming up in February-April are available Monday through Saturday, 10AM-noon or 1-3PM on the following weeks:
3/3/12, 4/7/12, 4/14/12, 4/21/12, 4/28/12
Beautify Grounds
These projects are completed for the season and will be available again starting in March 2012.
