Top 10 Items for the Water Street Mission:
- Cribs that meet the new, 2011 federal safety standards (4 are still needed)
- Food (see particulars below)
- Baby supplies, especially diapers (sizes 4, 5 and 6) and baby wipes
- Alarm clocks to help clients get up on time for class, work, etc.
- New bras and new women's underwear, all sizes
- New white socks and new men's underwear, all sizes
- Men's deodorant
- Sheets (flat and fitted for twin beds in our shelter; new or gently used) and Blankets (twin size and larger)
- Pajamas for women (new or gently used; particularly large sizes up to 3x)
- Single bed frames, mattresses and box springs (new or gently used)

The costs of seemingly basic items like toothpaste, shampoo, and other toiletries can really add up. By donating these items, you can help save Water Street Mission over $20,000 a year!

How do I drop off my donations? Food Items:
Your food donations will be used to prepare over 400 meals a day for the homeless and poor in Lancaster County -- that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the year!
Our kitchen is currently short on the following items:
- Food items for Easter: frozen or fresh hams of any size, canned fruit, mashed potatoes, canned yams
- Anything fresh - from fruits
and vegetables to meat,
cheese, eggs or milk - Cereal
- Sugar (5lb bag)
- Sugar substitute
- Canned fruit
- Juices (at least 64oz) – vitamin C fortified
- Coffee creamer (dry bulk)

We welcome your food donations during the following hours at our Food Dock:
Monday - Friday: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
The Food Dock is located at our Prince Street Campus -- 210 South Prince Street, Lancaster. Pull into the first parking lot on our campus, which is between Sieber Hall and Hayes Hall. The Food Dock is in the back right corner of the lot. Please ring the bell beside the dock so that someone can receive your donation.
